Our CTO Richard Siebels shared his thoughts with ATOMP Research’s Industry Analyst Andrew Hartwyk on the use of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation & Machine Learning in today's Telecom and Wireless Expense Management solutions.
"For years, telecom expense management (TEM) underwent little change. Most vendors essentially offered different versions of the same capabilities, creating a perception that the TEM sector remained light on innovation. In many cases, that was true. And yet, as next generation tools robotic process automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence, in particular have grown more mature and usable, TEM vendors have taken notice and action."
"These technologies will have a profound impact on the direction and strategy of every enterprise consuming and analyzing not just telecom, but the wider landscape of technology. As enterprises seek more accurate analytics with actionable guidance for initiatives such as cost and disaster avoidance, and much more, RPA, machine learning and AI are delivering. Among TEM vendors, the thoughtful implementation of RPA, machine learning and AI will separate the leaders from the followers. As providers seek to differentiate themselves from the pack, this will be mandatory."
