vMOX is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will mine, analyze, and report on complex sets of data within the organization to provide recommendations for business growth and improvement making systems/processes more efficient and enhancing our product offerings. • Work closely with the Management team to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical performance metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers using tools like Power BI and SQL.

• Collect, manage, and ensure the quality of business intelligence data from various internal and external sources.

• Establish operational procedures to utilize the database and provide support and maintenance for any unique programs and data models.

• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.

• Utilize statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to impact the business’ strategies.

• Utilize the results of the analysis to support recommendations for action to improve or even grow the company.

• Ensure consistent definition and data pulls of financial KPIs across the company.

• Transform data into readable, goal-driven reports and visuals for continued innovation and growth.

• Proactively participate in data governance activities and seek opportunities to improve data quality and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the flow of information so data is analyzed, summarized, and routed to the proper stakeholders in a timely manner.

• Deliver weekly and monthly key business metric reports to senior leadership.

• Act as a thought leader to help identify and define company KPIs, including sales data, marketing metrics, and customer data.

• Stay current on relevant technology trends or emerging markets in the wireless industry and gather data related to our customers and the market.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• Two+ years of experience in business analysis using Microsoft Power BI or equivalent business intelligence software.

• Mastery of SQL for the purpose of extracting and transforming data from various systems.

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or relevant certifications preferred.

• Experience with other analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R).

• Knowledge and experience in data modeling and data warehousing.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization.

• Knowledge of marketing, web, mobile, and customer metrics and analytics and business tracking.

• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.

• Healthy curiosity to understand all aspects of the business and adaptability to changes.

• Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals.

• Elevated pride of ownership in work product.

• Experience working in startups and/or the tech, ecommerce, marketplace, and/or retail industry.

• 100% remote in the comfort of your most effective environment.

Salary:

• The salary range of this position is $75,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience.
