Operations Project Manager - Mobility

This is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic and distinguished team that provides mobility cost optimization and life cycle management services to enterprises. Basically, we reduce our clients’ monthly charges from wireless providers…while simultaneously making it easier to manage their mobile device inventory, services and providers. We are looking to add a full-time Operations Project Manager to our team support both our customers and internal company stakeholders.

The Operations Project Manager provides management expertise and is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating assigned projects. The Project Manager is responsible for guiding all new client Onboarding, Implementation and Integration activities for assigned projects/clients.  The PM works with IT and non-IT personnel, clients, vendors, account managers and project stakeholders to ensure all critical program factors are managed, implemented, tracked and reported. The Project Manager will work with account managers to plan, direct and facilitate client Onboarding activities as well as coordinate with technical resources on integrations (SSO, Okta, Service Now, etc.)  The PM will work on Client and Internal Projects including Customer Surveys, Process Improvements, KPI’s / Metrics, SharePoint Site Maintenance and other internal reporting initiatives. 


  • Create overall, detailed Project Management Plans and closely monitor task progress, milestones and deliverables to ensure on time/on budget project performance
  • Work closely with internal functional organizations creating structure around operational improvement areas as well as proposed system related improvements as they relate to Operations
  • Define project milestones and deliverables and create a work breakdown structure (WBS) to clearly define the level of effort and resources needed to complete all required tasks
  • Monitor all project activities and provide regular reporting to defined stakeholder groups to convey project status, gather project performance feedback, manage expectations and ensure project alignment with established requirements
  • Foster an environment for clear communication, synchronized activities, and established processes for issue resolution and change control
  • Teaches and mentors others in the required discipline and competencies of program/project management while applying business acumen to deliver high value results
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with all stakeholders and project team members to ensure successful completion of all deliverables
  • Resolve any issues and manage risks through the life cycle of all projects by following established project and system development methodologies, risk mitigation strategies and approved problem resolution procedures
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project personnel and stakeholder groups
  • Effectively manage project scope and schedule
  • Maintain a project documentation repository (SharePoint) and overall Operations documentation warehouse monitoring regularly to ensure content remains current and relevant
  • Maintain industry/technical knowledge base in Wireless Telecom/ Mobility Expense management
  • Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service

  • Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to fulfill customer needs


  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in program, project, business management in Telecom/Wireless/Mobility Expense Management
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution of projects within a team-oriented/collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated experience with successful people management and mentoring in PM methodologies
  • Proven experience in client facing projects
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and tools
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources

Critical Skill Sets:

  • Project Management (PMP) preferred
  • Process Improvement (Business Process Mapping)
  • Mobility Lifecycle experience required
  • Experience with Business Process Mapping (BPM) and driving process improvements identified through mapping
  • Experience with Client Satisfaction surveys and metrics (e.g.Net Promoter Score)

Education and Certifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline with five (5) or more years of experience related to this position
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Other relevant project management certifications
