Common integration questions, answered.
How much do integrations cost?
They're free. For most third-party integrations you just need to be an existing client of both vMOX and the outside solution.
What if I need to do a custom integration?
vMOX OnePortalSM is built to be flexible and scalable. We can assist, or you're free to run your own queries and build custom dashboards to suit your needs. If you're looking for an integration we don't currently have a solution for, we take requests and manage in our ideas portal.
Do you have mobile device accessory integrations?
Yes! For example, vMOX has a two-click integration with CAN-AM IT Solutions for your mobile device / wireless accessory ordering needs. The integration leverages CAN-AM's API to transmit the orders as soon as they are placed. Setup is completely managed by vMOX and requires no action your part.
My company already has a mobile device management (MDM) software. How is vMOX different and how do you work together?
MDM software, such as Microsoft Intune or IBM MaaS360, is focused directly on the device itself, while managed mobility service (MMS) providers like vMOX support the full lifecycle with ongoing managed services. Each is powerful alone, but we are better together.
There is no learning curve and virtually no effort required to integrate your MDM. You can manage and protect your devices, without leaving the vMOX OnePortalSM. Learn more about our Microsoft Intune one-click integration >
I see some MMS vendors marketing apps created specifically for business tools such as ServiceNow. What are the pros and cons of using ready-to-use ISV (Independent Software Vendor) app?
Marketplace applications are great for greenfield, fresh deployments where existing workflow processes are not established. However, in an enterprise environment, this is rarely the case. These apps can struggle to match how a company might move information between multiple departments and usually additional support is needed after go-live.
When a direct RESTful API is used to tie into existing processes, delegating mobility requests is simpler, all other implementation processes remain unchanged and zero user retraining is required.
